CODE OF CONDUCT

Once you have achieved membership status with the 57/57 Bns. Lightfoot it is expected that you do nothing to publicly dishonor yourself or your unit. Fairly or not, and due in large part to the current political climate, the group as a whole will be judged by the actions of a few.

The following activities are forbidden. As a member of 57/75 Bns. Lightfoot, you may NEVER:

Plan for, encourage, train for or provide support for illegal activities. These include but are not limited to the alteration of otherwise legal firearms to a status not allowed by law, the construction of firearms not allowed by law, or the construction or use of explosives in a manner not allowed by law.

Plan for, train in the execution of, or support in anyway violent overthrow of lawful governing authority

Plan for, train in the execution of, or support in any way armed conflict with Law Enforcement officials, officers or entities in the lawful pursuit of their lawful duties.

Plan for, train in the execution of, or support in any way public, or civil unrest.

Support, condone, endorse or engage in any racist activity of any kind, or the repression of any group based on race, religion, creed or any other belief system or any handicap.

Furthermore, you agree to comply with all reasonable state and local laws. You agree that while any individual charged with a violation of law is innocent until proven guilty, your membership in the 57/75 Bns. Lightfoot may be temporarily suspended until your case has been adjudicated.

If you flagrantly violate the code of conduct, you will be expelled from your volunteer position immediately. Under internal investigation, if it is discovered that you knowingly and blatantly violated the law without regard for the repercussions on your fellow militia members, we will provide any and all evidence to the appropriate law enforcement agencies with the explicit intent of aiding your conviction.

If suspended or expelled, you agree to return your unit name tape and/or insignia(s) without refund or reimbursement. Failure to do so will result in immediate legal action, the cost of which you agree to be solely responsible for.

In short, the 57/75 Bns. Lightfoot is a law abiding organization. Please work with us to uphold this mission.
