We are selective about our membership. We recognize that there are fringe elements within the overall preparedness and militia communites who are extremist-oriented, who may have nefarious intent. We are most decidedly NOT those people.

57/75 Bns. Lightfoot is a group of responsible, law-abiding citizens interested in creating a defensive tactical and preparedness plan for ourselves and our families, and nothing more. We not an extremist-oriented group.

If we encounter groups or individuals which are grounded in extremism – or postulate the violent overthrow of constitutional government - we stand ready to assist local law enforcement in the apprehension of these individuals and the disruption of these activities.

If your personal philosophy is based in hatred, offensive violence, overthrow or vigilantism, we wish no affiliation with you.

TO THAT END, WE DO NOT:

Plan for, encourage, train for or provide support for illegal activities. These include but are not limited to: The alteration of otherwise legal firearms to a status not allowed by law, the construction of firearms not allowed by law, or the construction or use of explosives in a manner not allowed by law.

Plan for, train in the execution of, or support in anyway violent overthrow of lawful governing authority

Plan for, train in the execution of, or support in any way armed conflict with Law Enforcement officials, officers or entities in the lawful pursuit of their lawful duties.

Plan for, train in the execution of, or support in any way public, or civil unrest.

Support, condone, endorse or work for any political candidate or entity. 57/75 Bns. Lightfoot is a strictly apolitical entity.

Support, condone, endorse or engage in any racist activity of any kind, or the repression of any group based on race, religion, creed or any other belief system or any handicap.
